I am a novice symfony user facing a challenge of adding a custom interaction to a list of objects (records) generated using module's generator.yml. Problem is I need to add this interaction only to objects satisfying certain condition.

I have read the relevant chapter from "A Gentle Introduction to symfony" (Admin Generator). However, I didn't find a solution there. I would greatly appreciate any advice or a suggestion as to what documentation I should look into.

Welcome to the forum.

Have a look at this section, which shows which parts of the admin generator can be overridded. At a guess, it is either "_list_td_actions.php" or "_list_td_batch_actions.php".

First I would advise you to try putting each of these in turn, empty, into your templates folder of your generated admin, to see what disappears Smile

Then, I guess also that you can obtain the standard code for each of these in the symfony core (you'll have to search for it), copy it in and then wrap an if block around it.
