Hi,

we have generate the backend of our application with Admin Generator on SF 1.4.

We have some few problems with the translations i18n because we want to translate the frontend and the backend.

FILTER :
- How and Where to translate the term "Select" in menu select in the filter form when it refer to a translation column of mysql ?
NB : We have no difficulties to translate "Select" when it's a Yes Or No field.

- How to order by asc a data column mysql "intitule" which is in french and in english translation by i18n ?

EDIT AND NEW FORM
- In the same case, we have and field of Text in English and French, in the Edit form, if we not complete the 2 field, we have a Error list before the 2 fields and again 1 before each field. So there is one display more when we use i18n, Do you know how and where we can disabled One of them ?

LIST
- In Batch Action, we have Edit and Delete, no problem to translate them, but we would add "Export" to the list, How and Where we can translate the title "Export to PDF" and "Export to CSV" ?

Many thanks for anybody who takes times to answer.

BR. pix.

The default translations, like e.g. for 'Edit', 'Delete' or 'Filter' come from the sf_admin.XX.xml in the sfDoctrinePlugin which apparently is them merged with whatever translations you provide.
So simply create a file sf_admin.fr.xml with your translations in the i18n folder of your backend application and clear the cache.

I have no idea regarding your other questions though.
