Guys, I have questions about filters.

1)Is there a way to control the execution of a filter so that it only executes EITHER before or after an action? Looking through sfFilter API it does not look like it. It seems horribly inefficient to do it that way?

2) Where do you save filter classes like myFilter.class.php? say if i wanted to overload a symfony filter calss like sfcachefilter, where should i save it so that it looks for mine first before going for the default?

3) The main goal is to disable caching for all XMLHttpRequests. I know I can inject headers in my action but since i have ajax calls littered all over my modules, this is error prone and probably not hte right way to do it. Am i on the right track here or is there an easier way?

Thanks
