I am running into an issue with max_forwards.
In a cron, I do this
while ( $oResults->next() )
{
sfContext::getInstance()->getRequest()->setAttribute('nom',         $oResults->getString('nom'));
sfContext::getInstance()->getRequest()->setAttribute('prenom',      $oResults->getString('prenom'));
sfContext::getInstance()->getController()->forward('annonce', 'finValidite');
}

So sometimes, this leads to more than "max_forwards" forwards.

Is it ok to increase max_forwards, say to something like 15?

Is this a batch process? I would recommend that, unless you specifically need to use an action, that you just call a static class method instead. Forwards are really just for internal jumps from one action to another, and are not intended to be used in processing loops.
