you have not initialised the db manager

also shouldnt you be in dev environment?

try the following below

<?php
define('SF_ROOT_DIR',    realpath(dirname(__FILE__).'/..'));
define('SF_APP',         'front');
define('SF_ENVIRONMENT', 'dev');
define('SF_DEBUG',       true);

require_once(SF_ROOT_DIR.DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR.'apps'.DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR.SF_APP.DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR.'config'.DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR.'config.php');

// initialize database manager
$databaseManager = new sfDatabaseManager();
$databaseManager->initialize();
$cPeer = CommunePeer::doSelect(new Criteria());

@remylimouzin - please do not delete your message after you have received replies. It is not helpful to respondents, who have taken the time to answer your question. Thanks Smile
