Hello all,

I m using the latest version of the sfGuard plugin, and I just can t find the the checkbox for the "remember me" feature. I followed the tutorial and activated the filters, so I m sure the remember me cookie works... if I could only tell the application to actually remember me.

Could you please indicate where to display (render) the checkbox for the remember me feature, and if this doesn t exist, thanks for indicating me where to extend the sfGuardPlugin to achieve this functionality.

Thanks in advance,

a slightly confused...
Christian

It should be rendered if i understand BasesfGuardAuthActions::executeSignin() sfGuardFormSignin::configure() correctly.

Sorry for the late reply, holidays obliges Wink

Looking at sfGuardFormSignin::configure() where I´d expect the remember me checkbox only creates the following widgets...

    $this->setWidgets(array(
      'username' => new sfWidgetFormInput(),
      'password' => new sfWidgetFormInput(array('type' => 'password')),
    ));

...noting of a remember me option. I don´t think that it´s in the following lines of this configure(), but to post the function completely here we go:

    $this->setValidators(array(
      'username' => new sfValidatorString(),
      'password' => new sfValidatorString(),
    ));

    $this->validatorSchema->setPostValidator(new sfGuardValidatorUser());
    $this->widgetSchema->setNameFormat('signin[%s]');

Thanks for some enlightment,
Christian

Can anybody confirm this? Is anybody of the core symfony team reading this section of the forum anyway?

Maybe I should raise a ticket?

Cheers,
Christian

The sfGuardPlugin 2.2 fixes the problem, it seems that the remember has simply been forgotten. Now it works like a charm...
