What is your experience while browsing symfony-project.com with tabs?[ 16 vote(s) ]
1.I like the page titles as they are. 3 / 19%
2.Not much of an issue, but page titles could be better. 7 / 44%
3.Difficult, I wish there were better page titles. 6 / 38%

My subject pretty much says it all. When I am training/developing with symfony I often have many tabs open to different parts of the symfony site (i.e. tutorials, wiki, api viewer, documentation, forum, etc). However, they all say either "symfony PHP5 framework..." or "symfony - open-source...", which makes it near impossible to know which tab pertains to what location.

Possibilities:
"symfony framework forum" --> "Forum - symfony framework"
"symfony - open-source PHP5 web framework" --> "Class sfAction - API - symfony...".
(Tabs tend to truncate the title when there are many tabs, so it is better IMO to have the most specific part of the title first)

I often use reversed breadcrumb trail separated by pipes in the title.

I'm not the only one who thinks this is important:
Symfony

page title: not only does it help users with several browser windows open to find yours, but it is also very important for search sites indexing

From the docs

<edit>author is probably referring to different sites, but the same principle holds true for pages within a site IMO. Firefox 2 now has a tab menu on the right, so it would be OK now if "symfony..." were first -- but the title still needs a page descriptive IMO</edit>
