I think integrating phpdoc could be a great time saver and possibly connecting it with the WebDebug Toolbar can help resolve bugs. In the symfony skeleton, you have docs folder, but I do not see it being used by symfony.

How would PHPDoc be connected to the debug toolbar? AFAIK you just download it, and point it to your code plus symfony folders, generate your docs and there you have nice HTML documents of your code and symfony code.

Specifically, adding some phpdoc commands to the CLI.

I agree this would be a great benefit to developers. Integration with the toolbar I think is a good idea, you could hack together a script that could load it into the toolbar based off the module name/action name.

I think it'd also be largely helpful if it output into the docs folder, but then if you browsed to something like yoursite.com/docs it'd allow you to view the generated scripts. The docs folder could be automatically locked down like the dev mode by only allowing a list of allowed IPs.
