Hello

The feautre I'm suggesting now is now very important because symfony is already "integrated" with TinyMCE editor .... but it would be cool if there would be choice between TinyMCE and SPAW. I guess SPAW is more powerful than TinyMCE (it's also free). For example SPAW has great images management system Grin

There is plugin for TinyMCE to do that ... but as far as I know it's not free.

Hello wengosh!

There is also integrated FCKEditor (http://www.fckeditor.net). I use Spaw before I did not know FCKEditor. I think it is more powefull.

It has also good Image and file management.

As for rich text editors, Dustin Whittle is currently working on a way to add each new one as a plugin. Maybe you could get in touch with him.

I am implementing the following editors into symfony:

TinyMCE - default
FCKEditor - plugin
Xinha (htmlarea successor) - plugin
SPAWS - plugin

Details about each can be found at:

I believe these should be more than sufficient for people needs... If anyone had any recommendations, please let me know via this thread.

Also, if anyone has already integrated any of the editors, please submit your patch via a ticket and we will try to get it integrated!
