Hi all!

I am trying to launch the sandbox application I have downloaded from symfony-reloaded.com today. I have all the requirements installed and I have passed the check script from the sandbox. All the requirements are ok, also the optional cheks.
What I have when I try to see http://localhost/sandbox/web/index_dev.php/hello/Victor is nothing (and there is nothing on the source code served).

I work with an iMac with 10.5v OSX (Leopard)
I also passed all the requirements to work with symfony 1.4.
Any thowghts?

Thanks in advance,

VictorR

Is there anything in your Apache/PHP logs?

Hmm, okay. I've not downloaded S2 yet, but is there another front controller in the /web folder you can try? Perhaps frontend_dev.php?

Thanks, a lot, but there is no other front controller. I will try to solve these unloaded dll's. Perhaps this is the solution...

Hi again!
I have downloaded again the sandbox app and now I have this on the apache error_log logs:

[Thu Apr 08 15:06:39 2010] [notice] child pid 4106 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

Any idea about what does it mean?

Maybe just a mistake when you wrote it, but shouldn't it be 2.0? Very Happy

You need PHP >= 5.3.

Are you sure this is the one used by your servor?
what does "http://localhost/sandbox/web/check.php" output?
I my case, php -v displayed 5.3, but the check.php page was still saying 5.2... Confused (then I managed to pass it to 5.3)

This could be the php server is using another php.ini file, make sure it is using the php.ini from the php 5.3 version installation.

My output is:

Checking that PHP version is at least 5.3.1 (5.3.2 installed)

If you're still getting the segfault, then you'll need to start unloading your accelerator and/or PHP modules until you can pinpoint which thing is causing it. Then you'll need to get an updated version, or perhaps swap it out for something (e.g. if the problem is found to be APC, and a newer version is not available, switch to eAccelerator).
