Hi there,

I currently have is_secure set to on for most of my application. I would like to extend the background functionality that this implements. User access can be restricted by various criteria, amongst them we have time, day and IP address.

For any action that is_secure is on I would like various checks against these criteria. For example if the currently logged in user has time_from="08:30" and time_to="18:00" I would like him to be logged out when he makes a request after "18:00".

I have looked at how I should do this and things seem to point to sfExecutionFilter but I have not made any progress beyond looking at that. I have modified my login methods to account for these criteria but I would really appreciate some pointers on how I should implement the rest of it.

Many thanks in advance,

Nick
