Can you post the relevant code of your whole form? It would then be easier to pinpoint the problem.

<!-- apps/frontend/modules/job/templates/_form.php -->
<?php use_stylesheets_for_form($form) ?>
<?php use_javascripts_for_form($form) ?>

<?php echo form_tag_for($form, '@job') ?>
  <table id="job_form">
    <tfoot>
      <tr>
        <td colspan="2">
          <input type="submit" value="Preview your job" />
        </td>
      </tr>
    </tfoot>
    <tbody>
      <?php echo $form ?>
    </tbody>
  </table>

This form looks fine, but you haven't pasted the part where you added the reset field.
