Hi,

We have installed the plugin sfDoctrineGuardPlugin to have some permission for Groups and user to access on the back end.

It's work fine.

But now, we would like to have other type of permissions between groups and content on MYSQL.

Example for a photo library :
Groups and Categories Permissions
Groups and Albums of fotos permissions
Groups and Files permissions

Example : If I have users of motorcycles in a users group called Motors, I would like that group only access to the categories of Albums "Motors".

Is there a add-on plugin to do that ?

Thanks for idea.

No plugin, but it is possible. Your user has a permission called "album", in all likelihood, and not "motors". Accordingly you need to do the filtering yourself, and to keep track of what album categories your user may view.

I explain this in a blog post here, though the server is down at the moment. I'll ping this thread, if I remember Smile, when it is up.

I wouldn't copy the code verbatim, since it's for symfony 1.0 - thought it might still work. The purpose of the post is to show how to achieve per-user (or per-user-group) filtering.
