That's a good point. I've been lobbying my employer to switch to 1.3 for a while, and they've only just relented.

I wonder then whether we it would be preferable to use 1.0 helpers on 1.3, rather than go to the effort of learning 1.3/1.4 techniques that will be outdated (but not out of support) when 2.0 at the end of this year?

On a related note, I should be pleased to attend where the tutor is from abroad (Jon Wage, or one of the Sensio chaps from France) but wonder if the cost would be lower if a "home grown" Very Happy tutor could be found?

I am a beginner of symfony (but not a beginner with programming and PHP etc), i would like to attend if it isnt too advanced or too expensive
